As the college debate season begins to wind down, the Samford Debate Institute is getting geared up for summer!
We are excited to add Marissa Silber of the University of Florida to our staff. Marissa has worked for the last five years at the top lab at Michigan 7 weeks with David Heidt and Jason Peterson, so we are thrilled to have her on board!
In addition, we are adding the home school division of our workshop led by Jayme Cloninger, a former NCFCA all-star debater.
Dr. Ryan Galloway will once again lead the top lab. Ryan has judged the finals of the National Debate Tournament five times as well as coaching teams all the way to the finals of the National Debate Tournament.
Mike Maffie is also making his return after an awesome year at the Samford institute last summer. Mike also led Cornell University to a bid to the National Debate Tournament in Austin. Mike is most excited, however, at dominating the students on both the ultimate frisbee and softball fields.
Skip Coulter makes his return as leader of the novice lab, fresh off of coaching Mountain Brook High School to FOUR TOC bids. How does he do it? Come join his lab and find out!
Dan Bagwell & Logan Gramzinski will also work at the institute, fresh off of their third place finish at the SEC district qualifier to get to nationals. Learn their top-notch methods of polishing off the most successful universities in the nation by coming to the Samford camp!
Everyone is already in a buzz about the camp this summer, so hurry up and send in your deposits! This promises to be the best Samford camp in recent memory!
